Day Trip

Enjoy a day in the Columbus area in some surprising places! Enjoy shopping and a wonderful lunch at the Morgan House in Dublin, OH. Established in 1985, this stop was started from the original log cabin named after famed Civil War Veteran, John Hunt Morgan. The original cabin has been reassembled and offers a wonderful boutique-like shopping experience followed by a terrific lunch at the restaurant.

Next, the group will stop at the Kelton House for a Historical Tour. Built in 1852, this home served as a stop on the Underground Railroad. Restored to its original condition in 1976, guests will enjoy a guided tour led by a costumed docent of the family home and their life during the early days in Columbus.

We end the day at the Franklin Park Conservatory. During our visit the Blooms and Butterflies exhibit will be featured in the Pacific Island Water Garden that is filled with blooms that attract and delight the senses! There will be time to enjoy the gardens and gift shop as well.
